shrimp & spinach curry

a classic and reliable comfort dish with a kick

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 cups of spinach 

  • 1 pound of deveined, peeled shrimp

  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil 

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric 

  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder

  • dash of curry powder

  • 1 onion (diced) 

  • salt to taste

HOW I MAKE IT:

PREP: Thaw, peel, and clean the shrimp. Wash the spinach and set aside.

COOK: In a large pan over medium, add the olive and sauté the onion and minced garlic. Cook until onions become golden brown. 

​

Add in the shrimp and spinach and season with turmeric, curry powder, chili powder, and salt to taste! Combine all the ingredients together. 

​

Cover and let the ingredients simmer until the spinach is wilted and the shrimp is thoroughly cooked.

​

Serve over rice, with homemade naan, or however you prefer and enjoy!
